Infrastructure × Blockchain

Peter Frederikson

20 years enterprise infrastructure. Now building Web3.

I bring production-grade rigour to emerging technology. Whether it's keeping critical systems running or building decentralised applications — I go deep, document everything, and deliver work that lasts.

Services

Enterprise consulting with a craftsman's approach. No shortcuts, no duct tape fixes.

⚙️

AIX & Linux Administration

Deep expertise in IBM AIX and Linux environments. System hardening, performance tuning, migration planning. I've managed infrastructure at scale for nearly two decades.

🔄

CI/CD & Automation

Ansible playbooks, SemaphoreUI pipelines, infrastructure as code. Automate the boring stuff properly so your team can focus on what matters.

🏗️

Backend Architecture

System design that anticipates problems before they happen. I've been the one on call at 2am — I write systems that let you sleep.

📝

Documentation

I document everything. Your team won't need me to understand what I built. Clear, thorough, actually useful documentation is part of the deliverable.

Blockchain Portfolio

Learning by building. These projects demonstrate my transition into Web3 development.

DAPP Exchange

Peer-to-peer orderbook exchange built on Ethereum. Features wallet integration, trading interface, loans, and token swaps.

Enterprise Automation

Not all automation needs expensive vendors. Sometimes the best tools are built by people who understand the problem.

runonall - Multi-Server Command Runner

20 years of battle-testing. Run commands across hundreds of AIX/Linux/Solaris servers with powerful filtering. Built by sysadmins, for sysadmins.

The breakthrough: Added sudo support in 2013. During an emergency security patch, one admin using runonall made zero errors while manual command line work had typos. The verdict: "We should use runonall going forward."

Saved countless hours at NZ Ministry of Health managing critical infrastructure. Proves that pragmatic bash automation can outperform expensive enterprise solutions.

runonall-refactored - Modern Bash Edition

Refactored by OpenClaw. A professional refactoring of runonall demonstrating modern bash best practices and enterprise-grade code standards.

What's included: 100% ShellCheck compliant code, all helper functions separated into modular library, comprehensive error handling with set -euo pipefail, extensive documentation with architecture guide, CI/CD pipeline, and 40+ usage examples.

This version serves as a reference implementation for anyone wanting to modernize legacy bash scripts. Feature-complete with the original, but with professional-grade code quality, readability, and maintainability improvements.

About

I find the path that works — even when it's not the obvious one.

My career has been anything but linear. Twenty years as a panel beater, specialising in classic car restoration. Then twenty years as a systems administrator at New Zealand's Ministry of Health. Now I'm transitioning into blockchain applications.

The thread that connects it all: craftsmanship. Whether it's shaping metal with hammer and dolly (no filler), keeping enterprise systems running at scale, or writing smart contracts — I go deep, learn how things actually work, and do the job properly.

I'm a visual learner with a knack for pattern recognition. Show me once and I'll remember the steps decades later. I write thorough documentation because I know what it's like to inherit a system with none.
